Hi! My name is Lisa Maughan, and I am currently a first-year 2nd grade teacher while finishing my degree. I was an emergency hire this year, and before that, I spent 18 years as a substitute teacher in both long-term and short-term roles, teaching everything from TK all the way through high school. Those years gave me a strong understanding of how children learn at different ages and how important it is to build a positive classroom environment. I’m excited to continue growing as a teacher and to create a math classroom where students feel confident, supported, and ready to learn.
